1.What are the beliefs of Reality & Resolution Professional Counseling Services? RRPCS believe that facing reality and exposing denial are the key elements for people to begin working toward resolution in their lives. Through the therapeutic process we can assist in building healthy relationships. In other words by enhancing the person as a healthy individual with the inclusion of his or her social network, this will result in a person having emotional and psychological boundaries that will serve as a protective fabric that support the person in making healthy decisions and reduce his or her presence in unhealthy situations. If the person is single or have no significant love ones, we still believe that having these boundaries are important over a person’s life.
2. Do we only provide services to Professional Athletes, Celebrities, and Entertainers? No we do not! RRPCS services is inclusive for everyone regardless of their status, however we believe that some of the current counseling services being offered are not confronting high-profile population due to their status. If you come to us we will not be your enablers, we are here to assist you no matter what your status might be. Challenges in life such as addiction, depression and other disorders does not care what your status might be. There are famous people who have died because the proper support was not provided.
3. Is this service available for my family or just me? Yes, services are available for your family and our main model is inclusive of the social network. Additional information regarding this can be discussed at our initial meeting and when you decide to use our services
4. What are some benefits of this service? There are many benefits with obtaining our services; however, our main goal is to create an environment so you are able to work toward peace and resolution in your life. Some services, agencies and your own social network may prefer that you live in chaos, and to be dependent on their needs which will prevent you from growing as a healthy person. RRPCS believe this necessitates their ability to exploit you. RRPCS would like for you to benefit as a person first and not as an athlete, celebrity, or entertainer or whatever your career might be. RRPCS believe that well-being first will result in exceptional performance on and off the field, screen, or stage.
5. Do to my career, I would like to have confidentiality. How is this guaranteed? There are no full proof guarantees as security measure can be broken; however, I will do everything possible in our control to minimize those risks. I am bound by ethical protocol and HIPAA guidelines to protect privacy, privilege, and confidentiality of patients and their files. During our initial meeting, additional information can be obtained regarding protection, informed consent, and risks associated with entering the therapeutic process.
6. What is the duration of your services? This will depend on the variables surround your situation. Services can be for one day, one week, or even one year or more. This is determined by your situation; for example, you may have a court order to attend anger management counseling for at least 10 hours or even 10 days—therefore, your services will be done in accordance with the court mandate.
7. In the past some agencies or other services have attempted to exploit me because of my high-profile position. How much does your service cost? Cost will vary depending on needs. Yes, cost will be higher than the average if you are factoring in traveling, duration of services, court mandates, and/or any other unusual requests made by the client. Standard fees paid by the healthcare provider are the same regardless of the person being seeing.
8. Where do we meet for services and is traveling possible due to my career? Currently, my office is in Atlanta, GA however appointments must be made prior to meeting there; and depending on travel request and location, it is possible for me to negotiate other arrangements based on your request; however, I reserve the right to approve your location based my professional expertise and other appropriate factors we deem to be significant in therapeutic services.
